Linux related meetings are typically held on the 3rd or 4th Saturday of the month. Meeting topics and locations vary.

This month at the Penguins Unbound Meeting will be

Linda Kateley, Community Manager for Nexenta will be talking about a new illumos based distro called illumian. It is a combination of a Illumos(solaris) kernel with debian packaging. She will talk a little about how they got there and where they hope to go. Also will review some of the other illumos based distros.
